5 Milson Line Workshop
Started in August 1975 by father and son duo Colin and Mike Currie, Straitline® began as a general canvas manufacturer at 5 Milson Line Workshop, selling to transport companies and farmers in the Manawatu.
In 1987, 763 Tremaine Avenue was purchased, making way for the first expansion of Straitline's business.
Colin Currie retired in 1995, leaving Straitline Canvas in the capable hands of his son, Mike.
