January 2023 (Update 20)  ** FINAL UPDATE**

Our last new building update! We’ve now completely moved in at 26 Setters Line, Palmerston North. Here’s a few pictures showing the current state… we’ve still got a bit of organisation to do, but we are operating at full production.

Thanks to all the organisations that have come together to make this happen: XL Structural, BB Construction, SES Electrical, PNCC, UNO, Lancely Plumbing, and many more!

A few things will be completed over the next few months:

• PNCC is completing Setters Line stormwater and sewer upgrades this month
• Completion of fencing, front gardens, and gates will follow, including more signage to help you find the way in!
• Demo products and finishing touches to the office fitout will be completed throughout February and March
• Once PNCC have finished, Fulton Hogan will begin an upgrade of Setters Line, including a truck turnaround area at the end, footpaths, and improved street lighting​​​​

December 2022 (Update 19)

We have moved! You can find us at 26 Setters Line, Palmerston North.

BB Construction and their subbies worked hard during December to get the building ready for us to move in. The finishing touches are awaiting completion of stormwater works on Setters Line, which is expected mid-January.

Keep an eye out for pictures of the finished building in our final update next month.

November 2022 (Update 18)

Moving date possibly delayed… we’re not sure if all of our departments will be able to move before 9 January. Keep an eye on our social media and we’ll confirm the exact moving dates as soon as we know. UPDATE EARLY DECEMBER: opening date now confirmed for Monday 9 January.

Progress in November:

• Production area largely complete, some stock and machinery has already been moved ready to begin production
• Office wiring and painting are nearing completion
• Council staff are extending stormwater pipes down Setters Line, ahead of a major road upgrade early next year
• Yard works have begun, focusing on drainage and rear fencing
• Kitchen installation is complete​

October 2022 (Update 17)

Moving date confirmed! We’ll be closing earlier this year, on Friday 16 December. When we reopen on Monday 9 January, we’ll be at 26 Setters Line. All the puzzle pieces are lining up for building completion in early December.

Progress in October:

• Gib installation and stopping complete
• Office wiring complete
• Factory wiring well underway
• Building plumbing complete
• Exterior cladding nearing completion
• Most required supplies have now arrived​​​​​​

September 2022 (Update 16)

Check out the view from our upstairs offices!! Not sure how we’ll get any work done…

Unfortunately, delays have pushed the completion date to early December, so we’re now expecting to move in by the end of January. To minimise impact on production, it’ll be a staged move over 6-8 weeks.

Progress this month includes:

• External cladding installation has started
• Internal framing is complete
• Lining of office walls has started
• Installation of wiring is well underway
• Downstairs office ceiling has been painted and cable trays installed
• 50% of external signage has been installed
• Office fitout has been finalised and ordered
• Construction of production benches is well underway​​​​​
